چکیده
To investigate the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) association with anti-synthetase syndrome (ASSD). We conducted largest immunogenetic HLA-DRB1 and HLA-B study to date in a homogeneous cohort of 168 Caucasian patients ASSD 486 ethnically matched healthy controls by sequencing-based-typing. A statistically significant increase HLA-DRB1*03:01 HLA-B*08:01 alleles compared was disclosed (26.2% versus 12.2%, P = 1.56E–09, odds ratio–OR [95% confidence interval–CI] 2.54 [1.84–3.50] 21.4% 5.5%, 18.95E–18, OR CI] 4.73 [3.18–7.05]; respectively). Additionally, HLA-DRB1*07:01 allele significantly decreased (9.2% 17.5%, 0.0003, 0.48 [0.31–0.72]). Moreover, anti-Jo-1 positive negative observed (31.8% 15.5%, 0.001, [1.39–4.81]). Similar findings were when HLA carrier frequencies assessed. The unrelated smoking history. No differences stratified according presence/absence most representative non-anti-Jo-1 autoantibodies (anti-PL-12 anti-PL-7), arthritis, myositis or interstitial lung disease observed. Our results support complex susceptibility ASSD.

Association of KIR3DS1+HLA-B Bw4Ile80 Combination with Susceptibility to Tuberculosis in Lur Population of Iran
Background: Natural killer (NK) cells are the effector cells of innate immunity that respond to infection and tumor. Interactions between killer cell immunoglobulin like receptors (KIR) and human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules regulate NK cells responses to eliminate infected and transformed cells. Objective: To investigate the impact of KIR genes, HLA ligand genes, and KIR-HLA combi...
متن کاملKIR-HLA combinations and susceptibility to tuberculosis
Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (Mtb), with more than nine million new cases and almost two million deaths in each year is a worldwide important public health problem. Generally, human immune responses prevent Mtb spread, and the infection remains in a latent state. Both, innate and adaptive immune responses are involved against TB. However, the role of the...
متن کاملAssociation of FCγRIIA (CD32) polymorphism with susceptibility to brucellosis
Background: Brucellosis is the major bacterial zoonoses of global importance caused by Brucella spps. FCγRIIA receptor plays a central role in phagocytosis of IgG2-opsonized bacteria. FCγRIIA exhibits allelic polymorphisms with different capacities for binding IgG2 and phagocytosis. Cells expressing Fc γ RIIa-H131, bind more efficiently to complexes of IgG2 than those expressi...
متن کاملassociation of hla-dqb1 allelic sequence variation with susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus
systemic lupus erythematosus (sle) is an autoimmune disease in which polymorphisms within the human leukocyte antigen (hla) region have been associated to its etiology. we conducted this study to compare the hla-dqb1 allelic sequence variation among sle patients and controls in the northeast of iran. genomic dna of 40 sle patients and 83 healthy controls were amplified by polymerase chain react...
